About the Founder

Jon | USMC Veteran | Owner

I served in the United States Marine Corps for 9 years, including a combat deployment to Iraq, where I learned the true meaning of grit, brotherhood, and resiliency. After the military, I found myself struggling with PTSD and began the journey of healing. Returning to the land that shaped me helped restore my connection to self and to nature, deepening my appreciation for both what it represented and everything I had been through.

In the midst of that journey, I saw a gap—there wasn’t a subtle, affordable brand of hunting gear and apparel that spoke to the Quiet Professionals and outdoorsmen in my community. That’s what sparked the creation of Allen Creek Hunting Gear.  We stand behind every piece of gear we sell and will be continuing to roll out our own specific brand gear going forward.

This brand is personal. It’s rooted in experience, forged in adversity, and built for those who live deliberately. Whether you’re predator hunting, deer hunting or just embracing the peace of the backwoods—Allen Creek’s got your back.

When I'm not outdoors, you can find me spending time with my wife Jennifer and our three kids.

Why Allen Creek?

Allen Creek is more than a name—it’s where it all began for me. I grew up hunting and exploring the land around it, learning the value of patience, discipline, and respect for nature. It was the place I first felt that deep connection to the land, and where I laid the foundation for who I am today. Naming the business after Allen Creek is my way of honoring that place—and everything it stands for.
